Business & Networking Program Visitors 10 available	A$4100	A$3,200 includes: Business development activities including customer briefings. Welcome breakfast briefing with Ambassador Sophie Davies and Senior Trade & Investment Commissioner, John Prowse; followed by a session on Doing Business in Brazil. Australian Business Lounge construction and design utilising Australia’s Nation brand. Company logo displayed digitally in the Australian Business Lounge. Interpreters available during the activities. Entry in the Australian METS Directory in both print and online. Distributed amongst potential customers and allies prior to and during the show. Invitation to the Australian Business networking event held at Exposibram venue. Advertising and promotion of Australian capabilities. The Australian Business Lounge will be available for visitors to conduct pre-scheduled meetings according to a timetable that will be shared 30 days before the event. Each company will be able to schedule up to 3 meetings at the Australian Lounge per day. Registration and access pass for one person to Exposibram.	A$900 (3 hours @ A$300 per hour) includes: Organisation of the networking activities. Organisation of Mining workshop to better understand Brazilian mining challenges and opportunities. Organisation of B2C networking with miners. On the ground assistance during Exposibram 2024. Austrade facilitated connections.
Please note that the Brazilian Mining Congress, which includes plenary sessions and simultaneous panels offering insights into global mining scenarios, market trends and innovations, will be held at the same time and location as Exposibram. Registration for the Brazilian Mining Congress must be completed separately by delegates at the Brazilian Mining Congress website.  The direct cost and Austrade service fee form part of the total package and you cannot purchase one without the other.  You may also be eligible to claim some of your marketing and promotion costs associated with this exhibition through the Export Market Development Grant scheme. Payment

Clients are expected to cover:

• participation fees as outlined in their chosen package
• all travel, accommodation and incidental costs
• freight costs for samples and physical collateral

Austrade requires payment upfront for all international events. The payment term is 7 days from invoice date and your place is not fully secured until the entire fee is paid.

Insights about the Brazilian Mining Industry

• Brazil is the world’s fifth largest mineral producer and, as a result one of the world’s largest markets for mining equipment, services, and technology.
• The Brazilian mining industry is anticipated to invest A$ 6.4 billion in technologies and development by 2025, with a commitment to achieving a carbon-zero target by 2050.
• It produces more than 90 mineral commodities and ranks as the largest producer of niobium, second largest of iron ore, third in bauxite production and fifth in tin production globally.
• The world’s third largest mining company overall, Vale, is headquartered in Brazil and has operations in over 30 markets and is present on all 5 continents.
• Other key industry leaders include Kinross, Alcoa, Anglo Gold Ashanti and Anglo American.
• Although Brazil already plays an important role in global mining it hasn´t reached its full potential. With estimated production of 1.05 billion tons (2022) and more than 7,300 mining companies present in the market, less than 30 percent of the Brazilian territory is geologically mapped to an adequate level of detail for geological purposes.
• Brazil's dynamic mining industry presents significant opportunities for Australian METS to offer solutions, drive innovation and collaborate to provide expertise that can address Brazil’s evolving needs to enhance operational efficiency and to work in with high industry standards and adoption of technology that supports carbon emission reduction.
• Recently the mining industry in Brazil had two major environmental incidents (in Mariana 2015 and Brumadinho in 2019) that have significantly affected the industry.
• These dam breaks raised the bar of legislation and public scrutiny over mining companies and environmental practices. Climate change, biodiversity and human rights are also all strong current focus areas of the industry.
